Flintspiration weekend of 29 April-1 May 2017 was a tremendous success.  It was a celebration of all Norwich’s historic city-centre churches, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.   All the churches were open to the public with the churches of the Trust, the Churches Conservation Trust and the living churches of the Diocese all coming together to celebrate our astonishing heritage in Norwich.  An estimated 2000 people visited the churches or took part in the many cultural events which included: drams, exhibitions of the Stonemasons, bell ringing instruction, street theatre, and a large number of guided trails.

Public reaction was enthusiastic.

The exhibition which was at St Peter Mancroft is now on permanent display at St Martin-at-Palace, the new home of both the Trust and the Friends.  Leaflets about the self-guided trails  are also there.  St Martin’s is open to visitors  Tuesdays and Thursdays   10 am to 4 pm.
