On the bank holiday weekend of 29 April-1 May 2017, the Norwich Historic Churches Trust and partner organizations will be hosting Flintspiration, a celebration of all Norwich’s historic city-centre churches. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and others, this major event should see all the churches open to the public, with events being held in many of them. At our hub church, St Peter Mancroft, there will be an exhibition on the churches, and people will be on hand to provide programmes, advise you on how to visit the churches (perhaps using one of the many trails we’ve devised for you), and generally encourage you to get involved. It should be a great time to come into Norwich and join us.
For full information on all that’s planned, we’re setting up a dedicated website, http://www.flintspiration.org
The Friends will also be producing a series of ‘taster’ talks leading up to the Flintspiration weekend proper: see our Events page for more information.
